“George is far superior than any other dachshund that I have had and I really think that it’s because of Tomye. He has such a kind and mellow temperament and is very quiet. I never have worried about George getting aggressive with anyone. He loves people but he really loves kids! Tomye definitely knows what she is doing and I would absolutely get another puppy from her.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Heartland Hills Dachshunds! After losing our beloved dachshund, Bella, at 16 years old, our hearts were absolutely broken. In February, we welcomed Opal (Maple × Bizbee) into our family, and in May, Olive (Kiki × Blitz) joined us. Bringing these two girls home was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Opal is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and has the sweetest personality. Olive is full of adorable energy, endless affection, and keeps us smiling every day. Both girls are healthy, happy, and the biggest little love bugs.
One thing that really sets Heartland Hills apart is Tomye. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the breed and has always been willing to answer questions, offer guidance, and share her expertise. Whether we had questions before bringing our girls home or needed advice afterward, she was always patient, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure both puppies and families were set up for success.
When we went to pick out Olive, Tomye welcomed us into her home and took the time to let us interact with the puppies so we could find the perfect fit for our family. It was such a special experience and something we truly appreciated. Her home was spotless, her dogs were clean, well cared for, and clearly loved, and it was obvious from the moment we walked in that her puppies are raised in a wonderful environment.
While nothing will ever replace Bella, Opal and Olive have helped fill our home with joy again and have patched the holes in our hearts in ways we didn’t think were possible. It’s obvious that Heartland Hills Dachshunds puts so much love, care, and dedication into their puppies.
